The time is flowing as 2007 already comes to the end. It's the time to say goodbye to 2007 once 1st Jan 2008 comes in 3 days time.

For the upcoming of every new year, I believe many peoples are start with the wish for their best life in the upcoming year, such as successful than previous year, always in healthy condition etc.., but it is better for me to look back what had happened in 2007 in my life. There are some sweet memories and sad cases for sure and this is called LIFE!!!

Let's see what is the things that happened to me in 2007:

Sweet Memories:
(a) Improvement in my Academic Achievement compared to before.
(b) My status upgrade to uncle and I have 2 nephew currently.
(c) One of the best drama presentation group of Malaysian Studies.
(d) Wonderful University life compared to last year.

Sad Cases
:
(a) Often get sick when in hometown.
(b) Cannot get much freedom in hometown.
(c) Have to say goodbye to my friends who shift to Cyberjaya Campus to further their degree.

This only the major problem that i can think currently. If i think of other either sweet memories or sad cases, i will blog again regarding this topic.

Final words, I hope that 2008 will be the better year for me throughout the year.. Hehe...
I wish that I could be:
(a) More successful in life (academic etc etc...)
(b) Keep Fit
(c) Have a girl friend
(d) No financial problems
(e) Anything that i can improve

PMR result released

After UPSR, now is the turn for PMR candidates to know their result. For this year, there are 27,668 candidates get full A's in all subjects taken, compared with 20,154 candidates in 2006 and 20,101 in 2005. This shows that our national education system had successfully created many excellent students. On the other hand, there was about 559 students get straight E's in all the subject taken compared with only 524 candidates last year.

The highest increasing rate of the subject for this year is Mathematics. There is about 87% of candidates pass that subject compared with only 82.8% last year. Four of the core subjects showed a pass rate above 90%. They were History (93.5%), Geography (93.3%), Bahasa Melayu (93.1%) and Islamic Studies (92.4%). Meanwhile, Science showed a slight drop in pass rates from 90.2% last year to 89.1%. However, the number of students who scored an A improved by 1% to 17%. The Bahasa Melayu paper also improved with 26.7% of candidates scoring As compared to 22.6% last year.

End of Lecture/Tutorial for Trimester 2 2007/08

Today is the last day of the lecture session for Psychology and the last for my Trimester 2 2007/08. As for now, every subject had finish taught and my task now is to start my revision for my upcoming Final Exam which will be start on 31st Dec 2007.

Although it is a bit run out of time since i took 4 subject this trimester, i had to do my revision as soon as possible. Otherwise, i will face difficulties to answer those questions. For just now Psychology class, what the lecturer told me that although the question for PPS1014 Final Exam is 80 MCQ, but the question will be very tough and tricky. So, must think out of the box for every single question. Think Critically!!! Haiz~ I think other subject also will be the same situation as the Psychology as it is FINAL EXAM.. Don't play play~~

Good luck for my friends in upcoming Final Exam.. Happy Study :)

Happy Birhtday, DADDY!!!

Today is my daddy 47th birthday. So, tonight my family members plan to have a dinner in a restaurant. After that, go back home and eat cake. YEAH!!!!

As for now, I update my blog while me busying with my Pre-course registration. Up until now, i just managed to register 5 subjects out of 6 subject that I suppose to take next semester. 1 more subject that haven't register is BBF1014 ( Financial Management I ). The reason why I cannot register is because they only offer 4 slots of tutorial class, which were all full. I think I have to wait until this Wednesday just can register it.

This morning I woke up at the early of 9am to do my Pre-course Registration, but unluckily the server database of MMU are not available. I keep tried and tried but still can't. Finally, my classmate sent an sms to me and told me the registration is available. Once I enter and start to register, I found out that most of the sections were already full. According to 1 of my friend, the Pre-course Registration was available at 11.30am, while me 12.10pm just began to register. That why there was left not much empty slots available.

Birthday message: Happy Birthday to Melissa Tan. Her birthday is on 23rd of December too.

Mid Winter ( Dong Zhi)

Today, Chinese in Malaysia celebrate the Mid Winter Festival. In Chinese, we called it " Dong Zhi". Mid Winter Festival will be celebrate on 22nd December every year.

The Winter Solstice Festival or The Extreme of Winter is one of the most important festivals celebrated by the Chinese and other East Asians during the dongzhi solar term on or around December 21 when sunshine is weakest and daylight shortest; i.e., on the first day of the dongzhi solar term. The origins of this festival can be traced back to the Yin and Yang philosophy of balance and harmony in the cosmos. After this celebration, there will be days with longer daylight hours and therefore an increase in positive energy flowing in. The philosophical significance of this is symbolized by the I Ching hexagram (復, "Returning"). Traditionally, the Dongzhi Festival is also a time for the family to get together. One activity that occurs during these get togethers (especially in the southern parts of China and in Chinese communities overseas) is the making and eating of Tangyuan (湯圓, as pronounced in Cantonese; Mandarin Pinyin: Tāng Yuán) or balls of glutinous rice, which symbolize reunion.

Happy Mid Winter Festival to all My Friends! Must eat the glutinous rice balls ya^^

Malaysian Studies Drama Presentation

*Our lecturer, Miss Chin (center) and group mates.*

Yesterday, my group had presented a Malaysian Studies drama presentation which entitled " Malaysian Culture On TV." Basically the idea of this drama is to let people know about the culture of Malaysian. SO, we choose to do that drama in advertisement. 2 of us had become the speakers. The advertisement is divided into 3 parts, which are 24 seasonal drum (Chinese Culture), Hari Raya Open House (Malay Culture) and Indian Dance (Indian Culture). The reason why we choose this 3 events and combined together is because as we know Malaysia has 3 main races, which are Chinese, Malay and Indian.

We are the 2nd group to present. I believe every members heartbeat was increased when the turn of our group present. But as usual, we calm down ourself and did the presentation as normal we rehearsal. The most important was the show can let the audiences enjoyed.
Our drama began with 4 girls play the 24-seasonal drum, follow by Hari Raya Open House, and Indian Dance by 6 people including me ( 3 pair, couple form). When me and my group members presented, we can heard lots of clapping, laughing and shouting from the audiences and that was what we expect from audiences. The rest of 3 groups that performed yesterday also not bad.

After we finished our presentation, our lecturer had told us that our performance was very well, and each of us were felt very very happy. For those people who came and support us, thank you very much for your time.

Cyberprenuership Business Project

Today, me had invited my ex-lecturer, Mr Fendi Ahmad went to the cyberprenuership business project which had held at President Square. The events held for 3 days, which will be end on tomorrow, 14-12-2007. There was not that much stalls at there, maybe due to the short semester of the academic calendar now.

So, after my Psychology class at 12pm, me and him went to there and saw many peoples there. We went through all the stalls and i noticed that i became "famous" when walked with him. This is because when reached every stalls, the seller will shout: "Sir, come buy and support us!" Then, he must think a reason to reject those people or else he needs to buy. I heard that mostly reason he used was:
(a) Later I come again. I buy that time.
(b) Tomorrow Tomorrow..
(c) I had bought many food already. Next time la..

Me an him had bought not less food at there. The food that i bought is for my lunch. And i get free Hot Dog Bun at the price of RM1.80 because Mr Fendi treat me. Thank you Mr Fendi.
After about 40 minutes at there, both of us leave there and i went back home and had my lunch.

Drift King~

Last night, the tenants of Ixora Apartment, University Green and flat nearby the University Green were shocked with a sound "BAM.. BOM.. BOM..".. What was that sound actually? At first, around 12.30am, got 3 car were show their drift skills nearby the flat. I had seen this drift so many times, so i am not looking at it. Suddenly i heard a sound some sort like accident. So, i go out and had a look on it. A Proton car was fall down to the nearby tenants house. It was so embarrassing and so many peoples came out and looked at the incident, at the same time shouted like monkey in the zoo. I am not sure that guy was International student or Malay student. Many tenants of that flat go down to the scene and try to give some help.

The police came late to the scene. I think nobody did a police report at first. So, i don't know how they settle after that. Because that time was already 2am and I'm ready to sleep. It was a nice show for me to watch before i go to bed. Not bad~

Critique essay

Time is flowing and i just start feel nervous about my critique essay that must be submit on tomorrow morning. As a university student, is a common for me to delay the work until the last minutes because I have lots of work to do, other subject assignment for example.

So, i began writing my critique essay yesterday and at first 3 hours i just sit there without a word. No idea what I suppose to write. It's really TOUGH work for me. But as i realize the time is become shorter and shorter, i began my writing until 1 and half pages. Still left certain part for today to complete it.

Hopefully, my work is acceptable. If not, i going face trouble! Wait for my fate in tomorrow English class..

Try to learn not to be last minutes student but every time I fail because of 2 reasons:
(a) The task is tough make me delay it.
(b) Lot of time for me to finish it, so take it easy!

Midterm Over!!!

Finally, midterm was over.. Started with MPW2133 (Malaysian Studies) on 27th of Nov, continued with Psychology and just now Microeconomics. But i feel sad with the microeconomics paper, because i had did a silly mistake. Haiz~ But is ok.. Anything that over let it over.. Focus on final exam is more important.

As for now, lots of task wait for me. For English, i have to settle for my critique essay, as well as upcoming mock meeting, novel Dracula and final exam. My MPW2133 presentation also around the corner. With now the situation left less than 1 month to final exam, i had lots of things need to settle, i just can wish myself good luck till the last day of final exam.

For my friends who sit for SPM and STPM last month, i wish you all happy holiday!!!
