MMU MASTER 2008

I had not updated my blog since 2 weeks ago. The weekends for last 2 weeks was a busy weekends for me. I have no time to rest at home or even do revision for final exam. I had joined a biggest badminton event organized by MMU Badminton Club- MMU MASTER 2008. For your information, MMU MASTER is a badminton open championship which means all peoples from Malaysia are invited to join this event.

This event was held at Yok Bin Secondary School, and the date are 19, 20, 25, 26 and 27th April 2008. For 19th and 20th of April were closed category while 25th, 26th and 27th were open category. MMU MASTER for this year was not same as previous year, because we had invited 4 legendary players from Indonesia to have exhibition match on 26th and 27th of April. They are 1996 Olympic Gold Medalist- Rexy Mainaki-Ricky Subagja and 2000 Olympic Gold Medalist- Chandra Wijaya-Tony Gunawan.

Rexy Mainaki had make a lot of funny stuff during the exhibition match such as "pattern lebih" before return the shuttle to the opponent, go out rest while match is on and so on. The purpose they did so was just to make the spectators happy. After the exhibition match, many spectators went and get that 4 players to take photographs and autographs. I still have a chance to talk to Rexy (Malaysia Men-Double's coach) regarding the preparation of Malaysia squad for Thomas Cup and Olympic in Beijing. He seems like not much comment and replied me everything had done (training and other preparation), and we just wait and see.

On 27th of April, which was the last day of MMU MASTER, our MMU players have a friendly match with Rexy Mainaki-Chandra Wijaya. Both players enjoyed their game and the result was Rexy-Chandra won 21-12. Both of MMU players can feel proud because they have chance to play with national players and they able to get 12 points. We also broke 1 more new Malaysia Book Of Record. We using 17,398 shuttlecocks to make a big Malaysia flag (Jalur Gemilang). The mock cert was signed by the Exco Kerajaan Negeri Melaka to prove that the "Jalur Gemilang" was in the Malaysia's Record. The events ends at 10.30pm. All of the committees headed home around 12 o'clock after we clean up the hall. It was a tired day but happy joining this events. Hope to join MMU MASTER 2009 next year.

As a Assistant Director of Safety and Security Division, I would like to thank all my sub-committees for their contribution in this event. Without them, the event won't be success. I appreciate it!!!

Story~

Haiz~ right after my mid-term examination, I need to rush for my statistic and finance project assignment. While doing the project assignment with my friend's pendrive, suddenly pop-up 1 box saying that I had been detected with virus, and worse is within 1 seconds my laptop auto shut down. I can do nothing, even have a look. So, i get panic. The assignment due date is tomorrow while I'm still not completing my job. I keep trying to on back my laptop but failed. SHIT!!! I 100% sure the virus "stay" in my laptop. So, I had no choice and need to use my housemate's computer to do my project assignment and took my laptop to format and check the next days. After the shop's workers check for me, the main reason is laptop detected with virus plus the fan inside the laptop was not functioning. So, i need to buy an external fan to prevent from the laptop to overheat. Total spent of RM75 for format laptop and bought a fan.

Today, i took this opportunity to update all the things that had happened last 2 weeks which I did not updated this blog long time ago. On 25th March 2008, Badminton Club of Multimedia University had organized 60! Sports Arena event. This event was playing badminton marathon for 60 hours non-stop and break the Malaysia Book Of Record. This event is different with last 2 years sports arena which only 48 hours and the 60! Sports Arena has some tournament during that 60 hours of playing. I stayed overnight in the first night and I cannot sleep so well during that night. Around 6am, I waked by my senior to play badminton. Bluring~ Haha.. I, as the sub-committes of 60! Sports Arena also break my own record which playing badminton at 6am. This event ends right after 60 hours of playing. Although this event is quite tiring, but I'm happy to join this event. I can make more friends at there.

Last week, the result for mid-term examination was released. I was satisfied with my overall results. Thank God. Although I'm not well prepared for some papers, but results still satisfied me. Hopefully it going smoothly until the last day of final examination. On last thursday, my BMC 1024 group members and I had a presentation. We start our presentation with a short drama, then just proceed to our presentation. The main character of the drama was me. Hehe.. But after end of presentation, our tutor said she had a comment to our group. All of us start to feel nervous because while presenting, some of us just read through the slide. At the time, we think that trouble already and all of us said "Habis la!".. Who knows, the tutor said: " Well done to this group. This is the presentation that I want. Speak loud and clear and straight to the point. Very good job!" Fuh... all of us feel relief and happy. Congrates to all my groupmates...

OMG, I have not update my blog since the Midterm break. After back from the break, it was really a busy days for me. I having many exams and assignment to go, plus badminton club's activities. Later has a presentation and tomorrow will have test before complete my midterm test on this saturday. I will update more soon.

Midterm Break

Midterm break begins today, but this break is not an enjoy break for me. This break is only 1 week and I have many assignments to do during the break and need to pass up after break. Not only that, I have 4 midterm examination right after the break. So, this break is for MMU students to study at home I guess.

Tomorrow I go to Johore and celebrate my friend's birthday party. After that, Sunday morning I just back to my hometown. For all my friends who plan to go back hometown, be careful along the journey and take good care while at hometown.

SPM and STPM results released

Congratulations to all the SPM and STPM candidates who score a good result in the exam, especially to 1 of the SPM candidate who get 21A in SPM in Kedah. For those who haven't plan where to continue your study, can think of MULTIMEDIA UNIVERSITY. Haha...

Steamboat..

Last night, my friends and I went for steamboat in Melaka Town named Carry On Steamboat. The main purpose of eating steamboat is to celebrate one of my friend's birthday. Her birthday is actually on next week, but some of my friends cannot attend her birthday party, so we decided to celebrate with her last night. As for me, I celebrate twice with her, last night and next week.

We start our steamboat sharp at 8.30pm.. We whole gang of friends eat and chit-chat happily. One of my friend, Alex (who is also my housemate) created a lot of jokes for us to laugh together while eating. After 2 hours of eating, our stomach were full and peoples were looked like too full until hard to walk. After that, our next destination was MBO Cinema, but we were so unlucky because when we reached there, MBO was closed. I don't know why they close last night and I guess because of the general election problem which just ends 2 days ago.

We have no place to go and we decided to go Mori Cafe to continue our chit-chat. We also play cards while at there. I think my friends and I enjoyed playing cards. We play the cards name "Heart Attack and Dumb King". This 2 games need a very fast respond and 100% attention. If not, the person sure lose. As usual, the "Cards King"-ME, never lose if playing this 2 games. Around 1 am, all of us went back home.

I wish that I can have more chances to hangout with friends and go out eat and shopping together. I less go out in groups since my group of best friends went to Cyberjaya Campus to further their studies.

Keputusan Pilihan Raya Umum Ke-12

Setelah selesai mengundi 2 hari lepas, saya percaya seluruh rakyat Malaysia juga terkejut dengan berita gempar kekalahan besar Parti Barisan Nasional pada Pilihan Raya Umum pada kali ini. Tema Parti Kerajaan pada Pilihan Raya Kali ini adalah "Tahun Merawat Kelantan." Tetapi apa yang berlaku adalah sebalik dari dugaan mereka, iaitu mereka kehilangan 5 negeri kepada tangan pembangkang. Berita yang paling mengejutkan pada pilihan raya kali ini adalah negeri Selangor dan Perak yang tidak pernah dimenangi parti pembangkang sejak Barisan Nasional ditubuhkan akhirkan tumpas di tangan pihak pembangkang pada Pilihan Raya Umum kali ini. Apa yang berlaku sebenarnya? Adakah Kerajaan Barisan Nasional tidak megambil berat tentang kebajikan rakyat? Walau apapun, itu adalah keputusan rakyat negeri itu sendiri. Merekalah yang menentu dan memilih kerajaan negeri masing-masing.

12th General Election (Pilihan Raya Umum ke-12)

1st of all, this blog I will type in "Bahasa Kebangsaan" because it's related with nation and politics. I will begins typing in Malay words in the next paragraph.

Hari ini adalah hari yang amat penting bagi semua penduduk Malaysia yang berumur 21 tahun ke atas. Semua penduduk yang berhak mengundi pada tahun ini mestilah menunaikan tanggungjawab masing-masing untuk keluar mengundi. Pada hari ini jugalah, rakyat yang menentukan siapa calon yang paling sesuai untuk menjadi wakil rakyat untuk mereka.
Untuk menjadi seorang wakil rakyat yang disanjungi lagi disayangi, seseorang itu mestilah mempunyai sifat-sifat mulia seperti mengambil berat tentang kebajikan rakyat dan sedia mendengar masalah rakyat. Dengan sifat itulah, wakil rakyat tersebut akan menjadi buah mulut penduduk-penduduk di kawasan tersebut.

Pengundi mempunyai 5 parti (parti lain tidak disebut adalah parti yang agak lemah dalam bidang politik) untuk dipilih menjadi wakil rakyat mereka. 1 daripadanya merupakan parti kerajaan dan 4 lagi parti pembangkang. Barisan Nasional (BN) merupakan Parti Kerajaan yang berjaya memerintah negara sejak negara mencapai kemerdekaan sehingga kini. Ketua Parti Barisan Nasional ialah YAB Datuk Seri Abdullah Bin Haji Ahmad Badawi yang juga merupakan Presiden UMNO dan Ahli Parlimen Kepala Batas. Barisan Nasional merupakan Parti yang terdiri daripada banyak komponen Parti kecil bergabung di bawah nama Barisan Nasional. Antara parti-parti yang bergabung di bawah Barisan Nasional adalah UMNO, MCA, MIC, GERAKAN dan lain lain. Selain itu, 4 Parti Pembangkang ialah Parti DAP, PAS, KEADILAN dan BEBAS. Parti DAP diketuai oleh Ahli Parlimen Ipoh Timur, Datuk Seri Lim Kit Siang. Beliau juga merupakan Ketua Pembangkang ketika sesi pembahasan di Parlimen. PAS pula diketuai oleh Presidennya, Datuk Abdul Hadi Awang, yang pernah memegang jawatan sebagai Menteri Besar Terengganu pada Pilihan Raya ke-10 di mana PAS berjaya menawan negeri Terengganu Darul Iman selain daripada Kelantan. Parti Keadilan dikemudi oleh Isteri kepada Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Datin Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.

Sepanjang tempoh berkempen pada 2 minggu lepas, kita dapat lihat banyak bendera Parti masing-masing berkibaran di tepi-tepi jalan, dihiasi pula dengan poster-poster wakil rakyat dan banyak lagi. Banyak juga masalah dan isu yang timbul dalam tempoh tersebut, antara yang seriusnya adalah seramai 300 penyokong PAS mengadakan sekatan jalan raya di Kampung Kuala Ibai, Kuala Terengganu malam kelmarin, konon-kononnya ingin menyemak penumpang bas sama ada pengundi hantu atau tidak. Bas rosak dan cermin pecah akibat dibaling objek keras ke arah bas tersebut. Tidak kurang juga cemuhan daripada pemimpin parti (BN) dan pembangkang yang menceritakan tentang sikap buruk sesetengah wakil rakyat dalam kedua-dua Parti tersebut.

Diharap semua rakyat yang berhak mengundi untuk Pilihan Raya pada kali ini mengundi calon yang sesuai dan berkaliber untuk masa depan rakyat sendiri. Keputusan Pilihan Raya akan diumumkan pada pukul 9 malam ini. Saya ada menaipkan keputusan penuh Pilihan Raya Umum ke-12 pada hari esok
