EURO 2008 (Finals)

Tomorrow will be the Final match for EURO 2008. As we expected since semi-finals, this two team will meet in final. They are Germany and Spain.

We shall see which team will be the champion for EURO 2008. Both teams have their own strength and weaknesses. I hope both of the team will give their best performance in final.

It's my turn to guess the result for EURO 2008 final. I said.. GERMANY.. 2 SPAIN.. 1

Out to KL/Cyberjaya

I will be in Kuala Lumpur and Cyberjaya for 2 days..

20th Birthday

Thanks to all my friends, family members and respective lecturer who remember and wish me Happy Birthday. I appreciate every single wishes no matter it is a sms, face to face wishes or by dropping friendster's testimonials. Again, thanks to everybody.

Today's plan goes smooth. There are 9 peoples who celebrate the birthday with me. We headed to Pizza Hut (Mahkota Parade) about 7.15pm and spend for one and half hour there. After that, we plan to go "GO GO" ktv to sing karaoke. We get the promotion, which is sing for 3 hours, get 2 hours free. So, we get 5 hours all together to sing. But unfortunately, not every friends can join the karaoke activity. 3 of them need to back right after having pizza hut because they got something to settle.. When everyone looks tired after 3 hours of singing, suddenly 1 of my friend bring a Secret Recipe cake-Chocolate Cheese Cake into the room, which they had planned earlier. All of them sing "Birthday Song" for me. After that, we took many photos and eating cake before continue our karaoke activity. It ends at 2am.

I really happy because my friends celebrate my birthday together with me. It's so fun.. =)

Accounting vs Finance

VS

Yesterday, while I in FBL building searching and waiting for someone, I met with my ex-management accounting tutor. So, we chit-chat for about 10 mins. Conversation goes like this (summarize only important points):

Tutor: Eh, Hi.. How are you..?

Me: Hi, Madam. I'm fine.. How bout madam?

Tutor: I'm fine too. So, how your results last sems for MA?

Me: Err.. Just A-.

Tutor: Hmm.. A-, very good already. Eh, i think you should major in Accounting la.. Trust me. Accounting suit you. Besides, Accounting is a professional course what. Right?

Me: (silent) Erm.. Ya, it's professional but I already study other courses now.

Tutor: If I were you, I will choose Accounting. Nevermind waste for 1 year. Retake the course and see whether what subject can be credit transfer. Just 1 year what... U in Beta right, now ??

Me: No, Gamma year.

Tutor: Oh, second year already. Aiya, You make mistake la. You should choose Accounting. Your result is good. Some people get C for Accounting also want to major in Accounting. Why at that time u not apply for major in Accounting ?

Me: (LOL) Because at that time, I said to myself.. I need to get at least A- for my Management Accounting paper (FOSEE) just I choose for Accounting major. But I didn't get that result. See how la.. Maybe Master I choose Accounting.

Tutor:Oh, ic.. It's no use. You are not an accountant also. Unless you take ACCA paper. But it's a bit tough la..

Me: Yeah. ACCA is tough!! So, Madam is teaching what subject this sems ?

Tutor: Oh, I'm teaching Advanced Tax this sems. You should come and join my class la.. Although you are not accounting student. It might help you in the future.

Me: (blur) Oh, just see when I have time maybe I will join. (Alasan)

Tutor: Hmm.. Good la.. Okay la.. See you around la..

Me: Bye, madam!

After my tutor leave, I smile on my own when think back the conversation. As for now, I must continue my study that I had decided. I'm BANKING and FINANCE student. :)

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all fathers in Malaysia.

I supposed back to Malacca last night, but due to Father's Day, I plan to back tonight because tomorrow is a new academic year for MMU Students June Intake. I celebrate Father's Day with my lovely DADDY first before I leave my hometown at 9pm later.

For this year, I had lack of ideas what to buy as a present for my daddy. After think for a couple of days, I decided to buy Tiramisu Cake for my daddy. I hope you like it, dad.. :)

In this Father's Day, I wish my dad:

(b) Be happy
(c) Get what he wishes to get

For me, I successfully steps on GAMMA level in Multimedia University. Monday will begins new semester. Ready for it~~

End of Sukan Malaysia (SUKMA)

Finally, on 9th of June 2008, the SUKMA was ends and the host-TERENGGANU was the champions, with 61 gold medals, 39 silver medals and 47 bronze medals! Followed by Selangor and Sarawak.

Congratulation to all Terengganu athletic who won the gold medal and the state government had promised to give RM3,000 per athletic who had won gold medal. It's NICE! The sweet memories in this SUKMA were the swimmer, Carmen Ooi won the gold medal of 200m swimming for Terengganu, the 100m runner, also become champion and "The 100m speed king" title was given to him and the Terengganu football team had won 5-1 over Perlis in the final match, and much much more!!

SUKMA will be back in 2010 in Malacca.

Happy Dragon Boat Festival

Today, Chinese in Malaysia celebrating Dragon Boat Festival or also known as "Duan Wu Jie" in chinese. It is a day to remember a Chinese man in China who suicide because of the country. According to the story, The villagers could not find the dead body of QU YUAN, and finally they decided to throw some "ZHONG ZI" into the sea to prevent the living things in the sea to eat his dead body. Until today, the festival is still celebrates among Chinese.

Petrol, Diesel price increase

Around 5.30pm today, I received a "hot" news from my neighbors saying that the price of petrol will increase starting tomorrow. I get shocked and quickly go to the nearest petrol station to fill the petrol. Before I reach there, I can see many cars and motorcycles are queue up waiting for their turn to fill up petrol. It was jammed about 1.5km. Scary~

According to the news, the petrol price will increase 78 sen to RM2.70 per liter and diesel will increase RM1 to RM2.58 per liter. RM625 rebate for cars below 2000cc and Motorcyclists will get rebate of RM125. We can do nothing for now, just using the petrol wisely. Don't simply waste it... Suffer man!!!
