Yesterday, our beloved Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi had launched national new car, "SAGA" with new looks after first generation of Proton Saga had launched 23 years ago under Tun Dr. Mahathir. This new car using the campro engine with 1,322 cc of engine capacity. The price of this new model of SAGA is around RM31,500-RM 37,498.
According to Proton Holding Chairman, Datuk Muhammad Azlan Hashim, it symbolized Proton's perseverance that had paid off. Proton up to now had managed to about 1.2 million units of Proton Saga worldwide and able to sell about 50,000-60,000 unit per annum.
Congratulation to Proton which had successfully launched new model of SAGA.
