Today is the last day for 2008. Here comes some of the questions when the last day of the year:

1. What had we actually done in the year 2008 ?
2. Are we really success in 2008 ?
3. Are we manage to achieve all the targets that we set on 1-1-2008 ?

Let's think...

If we're not achieve all the targets that we set, that doesn't means we're fail. Maybe the times for us have not reach. Just give a one more try in year 2009 with the greater effort. Who knows the targets will be achieve.

For me, I could said some of my targets were achieved, some's not. I didn't blame myself of failed to achieve all the targets set, because I had tried my best with the greatest effort in every single things that I did. Maybe as I said, the times was still not on my side.

So, I would said GOODBYE to 2008, All of the happy and sad moments in the entire years will be so memorable. Thanks for everything.

Peoples, Happy New Year 2009!

Improv 2

In acting course/class, we normally called the assignment as Improv, and the assignments for this class is just acting. I had taken this "Theater (Acting) course for my co-curriculum subject. Basically, the students will have 2 assignment for this courses, which are Improv 1 and Improv 2. Improv 1 is something like pair assignment which present it in the class and Improv 2 is a group assignment which perform it in the public. I would like to talk more on Improv 2 because it is more attractive compared to Improv 1.

Today, all of the temporary "actors" had to perform Improv 2 based on their location they had choosed. There were around 8-9 groups presented on various location such as Habeeb Sultan, U-Center, CLC Concourse, Ixora Foodcourt, Library and so on. My group was the first group to perform and we started our "acting" sharp on 11am in front of Highland Curry House (Emerald Park). The idea of the story that we created was like:

"A jealous guy tried to interfere in the situation of a couple's conflict, and at the same time, the jealous guy had feelings towards that girl. The jealous guy was tried to fight with the girl's boyfriend and tried to protect the girl from being bullied by her boyfriend, but ends up the girl slapped the jealous guy for making the situation worse. The girl was very angry and tried to run away from there, and her boyfriend chased her from behind. Unluckily, her boyfriend was bang by a car while he crossed the road. The guy was badly injured and was sent to hospital."

The beauty of Improv is when the reaction of the publics while we acting in the public. When the scene of conflict occured, the ladyboss of the shop was angry and scold us :" Hey, you all want to fight, go other places fight la. Why fight here?" She don't know we're actually acting! All of us just acted like nothing happened and we continued our story. Another great scene occured when the guy was bang by a car and there was bloods came out from his hands, mouth and on the road. Again, the ladyboss reacted, "Eh, why can this happened ? Fast sent him to the hospital!" Not only that, I can said many publics were shocked with that scene and 1 of the public went to the security department and report that was an accident. After we finished acted, the Emergency Response Team from MMU came with a van to give an emergency help. Once they reached here, all of us plus our lecturer told them there was only an acting. They looks like "diperbodohkan" us. What to do ? We're acting. We could not tell you the real story until we end our acting. So sorry la, PAK CIK! Kita ni kan semua bakal pelakon-pelakon. Hahaha!

Today also was the last class of the acting course. The purpose of today class is just to listen the comments and feedbacks from the lecturer about all his students performance, besides emphasize again the format for final exam. I felt enjoyed taking this course and I had learned some skills for the acting. That's great!

Study Week

I feel tired of doing revision, so take a rest and update my blog. Actually, I have no idea what to blog this time, so just a simple one for the purpose of update. Hehe...

The short holiday has come to an end. I mean from the Christmas's Day (25th Dec) to Awal Muharam (29th Dec). Here comes the last week for Trimester 2 before final exam. This week is also the last week for students to have final preparation before sitting for final examination.

My final exam schedule had been finalize. Below are the details:
6-1-2009 BIS 2014 (PM)
7-1-2009 BOM 2064 (AM)
10-1-2009 CCT 1010 (PM)

Now I feel so sleepy.... Hmm... Better take a rest and sleep early.. Continue my journey tomorrow...

Merry Christmas

I supposed to stay at house and planned to finish up my assignment on the Christmas Eve's night, because I could not get the ticket to go back my hometown.

After the dinner last night, my housemate had invited me for Christmas Countdown Celebration at Portuguese Settlement, but I'm thinking of my assignment which need to be settle immediately with my group mate. Finally, I decided to go for countdown because my group mate said he can settled himself the assignment (left a bit part only). So paiseh la..

We reached there around 9.30pm and there were not much peoples because the time was still early. So, my housemate and I decided to have a walk around the area. I noticed that some of the houses were decorated so nicely. I planned to take some photos with the nice view of some houses, but unluckily, my handphone camera was not clear enough to capture night view. So, forget about it la! While walking around there, I met with few og my classmates.

Around 11pm, the crowds suddenly become more and more. Everybody was waiting for the countdown. Many peoples were started to play their snow spray at that time while waiting for the clock to reach 12am. Along the road, I being sprayed by peoples and many unknown peoples also get sprayed by me. My friends who attended there, aimed me and sprayed me while I'm in not alert condition. We chased and sprayed each other, so happy! I noticed that some girls became a target for a large group of guys while "spraying" activities held.

When there was 10 seconds left to reach 12am, most of the crowds gathered in front of stage and countdown for the Christmas. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, "MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!" I can see all the snow in the air. After the countdown, the crowds continued their "spraying" activites and I went back home around 12.40am.

It was an enjoyable night and I fully had fun till the max on the night!

Happy "Dong Zi" Festival

Me and De Kai went to Muar today. We went there because our friend, Lian Jie (Huey Lian) had invited us to have some fun in Muar. So, we decided to follow her back her hometown. We started our journey around 12pm.

When I reached there, I get well-served by Huey Lian and family. Her mother cook "tang yuan" for all of us. Thanks, aunty. Although cannot eat mum self-made "tang yuan", but today can eat "tang yuan" can counted as grateful already. After having the "tang yuan", Huey Lian and 2 sisters accompany us visit Muar.

Our 1st place we go was "ASAM FISH SHOP". We having our lunch at there. I noticed that the "ASAM FISH" in Muar quite different from Melaka. In Melaka, the ASAM FISH will be accompany by tomatoes, lady-fingers and long bean, but there is a plain ASAM FISH in Muar. I mean, only fish inside. Anyway, the taste was still good and the dish I think the best is " THAI STYLE TAUFU".. It's so nice! ( Forget to capture photos, all busy eating only). After that, we went to have cendol. The cendol is nothing different from Melaka cendol and I prefer cendol with red bean.

Once finished eating cendol, we went to TANJUNG. There is the place whereby the visitors can feed the monkeys. There are so many monkeys there and they are free to move here and there.. There're so cute! So, 5 of us went down and me and De Kai decided to feed the monkeys while the 3 siblings not even dare to go closer to the monkey's spot. I bought 3 packets of groundnuts to feed the monkeys. I found out that at the first moment they afraid of us, but ends up they're so enjoyed of eating "free groundnuts". Before I ended my last packet of groundnuts, I planned to go closer to the monkey and feed them nearer. Who know's, the monkey taken all my packet of groundnuts and clawed my hand. I did not know what the monkey tried to do, but I just smile at them and I did not get any hurt. All of them laughed at me! I felt funny too.. Then, we went to beside Muar River and see the scene from there. We also walked around the garden and saw many peoples there selling and buying foods beside the road.

Final destination that we went was something like "4th road" if I'm not mistaken la.. Haha! At there, I can saw many food stalls beside this road and many peoples buying foods at that time. I also packed 1 wan tan mee + otak otak ( Muar's famous food) for my dinner. After finished buying, we headed home to Melaka around 5.20pm.

It was an enjoyable trip to Muar and I would like to thanks to Huey Lian and family for entertained me when the time I'm in Muar.

Fund Raising for MMU MASTER 2009

This morning, supposingly in the schedule were 4 peoples incharged for finding sponsor for our badminton club biggest event- MMU MASTER 2009, but ends up only 3 who turn up. Me, Alex and Rachael are the only 3 committees went out for finding sponsors, and we started our activity sharp at 10.30am.

The venue that we had to incharge is around Batu Berendam area. I found out Batu Berendam area was a very hard place to find sponsors, because today we just managed to collect an amount of RM35. YES, RM35! What to do.. We had tried hard shops by shops, explain to the worker/boss in the shop that we are organizing this event, and hope to get some support from boss and so on. The boss ends up ending the conversation by NO. THANKS!

Through my observation, I found out that some shops' managers have a very good "acting skills" while we went through their shop for fund raising. The examples of the conversation as below:

Me: Good morning, sir.. We're from MMU BADMINTON CLUB. This April we will be having a biggest badminton event, MMU MASTER 2009 at Yok Bin Secondary School. This event is open category. Due to the limited budget, we need to find some sponsor to support us make this event successfully. Do boss willing to support us ? (Short cut text)

"BOSS": Err.. Boss not in... The incharge person also not in.. I cannot make decision. Sorry! Thanks. (Padahal sendiri boss!)

After listened to those comments, 3 of us felt so swt and speechless. We're not forcing them to sponsor us, but please don't cheat us and treat us like we're 0 knowledge human. We're university student la! Common! Haha... But is fine.. We at least managed to get other 3 companies that under consideration. Actually not bad la, now the economic situation so bad, got peoples want to sponsor feel thankful already. We ended our activities around 4pm.

Update

I had finished all my midterms for now. For the rest of the days in this trimester just 3 assignments that have to complete before their due date and final exams that will be start on 6th January 2009.

I had spent many days for the revision of my last midterm paper, BIS2014 (Management Information System), so I had no time to update my blog, or I should say no time to enter my blog also.. Haha! It's not I'm too hardworking or what, just need more time for me to study those IT stuffs, but the result of spending so long time to revision just can know once the the marks release. I really weak in those IT knowledge.. :)

After settled all those tests, now is the time for all the students to arrange the timetable for their next trimester. All students are encourage to arrange their timetable well before the actual date for course registration to avoid complicated and clashing of the time and subjects when the day student register it. Seriously, I feel so disappointed with MMU system because all GAMMA BANKING & FINANCE students cannot arrange their own timetable due to clashing of the time. I asked the officer in the faculty, she told me to check again and finalize the timetable before 26th December 2008, and if the clashing is still there, kindly email to her.. Swt! I never face with this problem before since I study in MMU. This problem only occur to Banking & Finance student, others no problem.. Now all of us can do nothing and just wait for the timetable to change. Hopefully it will change la!

On 18th Dec 08, my friends and I went to Pantai Puteri to celebrate the birthday of Joanne (16th Dec) and Ching Ching (21st Dec). We celebrated late for Joanne birthday due to the BIS midterm exam on 17th, and advance celebration for Ching Ching due to so many friends not available on the 21st of Dec. Sorry to Joanne and Ching Ching! Hehe.. We chit chat and relax beside the beach once finished the celebration. The main reason we choose Pantai Puteri as our destination for the birthday celebration was also some claims want to have some peace place so that can relax their mind. Too stress of studying BIS 2014 I guess.. Haha! I will upload the photos once I get from my friend.

Gemuk Girl's

Yesterday went to KL PAC, Sentul with my theater class classmates to watch a stage show, which titled "Gemuk Girl's". Gemuk Girl team consists of 1 man and 2 woman. They're singaporean. We have to go and watch, then write a review for the play. It carrys mark for our coursework. So, all of us has no choice and it is also a good opportunity to watch a live play. I seldom get chance to watch live play.

We depart from Malacca around 5.40pm and reached there around 8.40pm. When we reached there, the show was already began, but not much affect us because one of the actor lying on the stage. We knew that he was lying for around 20 mins there. At first, I didnt know about the overall story, but after continue watch the play until certain period, finally I get it. They were actually criticize ISA. Their languages and pronounciation are very fluent and clear! Awesome!

What I feel suprise in this play was one people can carry more than 2 characters. It sounds fantastic but novice level like we all, hard to catch the message in the early stage. All of the actors spoke the dialogue using 3 languages, Chinese, Malay and English. After the play, the Director, Script Writer and 3 actors. They reveal their process of rehearsal and they need 9 months to practice the dialogue of the play. They also admit is a very hard tasks to practice Chinese.

After the play, all of us headed home and stop at the KFC in Plaza Tol Sg. Besi for our supper. Actually I should said it is our dinner because we haven't eat our dinner and the time we having KFC, the time was around 11.50pm. We reached Malacca 2.40am.

It was really a nice trip and I enjoyed it!

Failure and Success, which one better?

Everyone in this world hope they will become a success person one day. A person to become success, will it meet with "failure" in the journey to become success ?

Success sounds proud and happy if we achieved it. I believed 95% of peoples in this world will meet with "failure" before they really success. Success without failure, in other words, PERFECT does not bring any means to our success. It let us learn nothing. There are some peoples really enjoy PERFECT job.

On the other hand, failure really makes us learn a lot of new things. If we never meet with failure, we never want to learn new things. Failure will make us think what are the causes make us fail and how to solve this problem to become success later on. It brings many experiences to those who met with failure before. Although it's quite bad experiences, at least we alert of it and will not repeat the same mistakes again.

Please think of peoples like : Thomas Edison, Michael Schumacher... They really met with failure before!

Smile Moon

Hmm... Seriously I want to know the real story of this smile moon. I got this story from my housemates saying that last night was happening a smile moon.

According to him, this phenomena will happen once in many years, but I not sure how long will it repeat again. He added this phenomena happened due to Jupiter and Venus's position were in the line make the sun reflect the sunlight and create the smile moon. I'm not so sure what I said is true or not. Whoever knows please drop me a comment and let me know. Thanks.

Tonight the moon changed its mood to sad mood. Just imagine yourself by taking the moon in this picture and make it inversely.

Badminton Club Activities for Week 4

This post is to let MMU students and staffs know about the activities that MMU Badminton Club will organize in week 4. There will be :

(a) Free Playing session for MMU Badminton Club Members.

Members of Badminton Club can enjoy a free playing session on tomorrow, 1st Dec 2008. The purpose of having this free-play is for members get to know each other well. Members are required to bring their own racquet to play and the shuttlecocks will be provided by club. Members must bring along the membership card to prove themselves as a member of Badminton Club. The details as below:

(b) Smash Master 2008

On 6th and 7th of Dec 2008, Badminton Club organizes SMASH MASTER 2008. This competition is open to all MMU students and staffs. Nice Outing

Every Thursday can say is a day that "full of relaxation" for me and my friends. We choose Thursday because Thursday we only have 1 class, tutorial for BOM 2064, and it ends at 4pm. I can said almost every week of Thursday we sure have plan, thanks to our activity planner-Ms. Wong. Wakaka!

Yesterday we went for a buffet dinner at Seoul Garden. There were only 6 peoples involved, Me, DK, Lian, Nong, Mei Kee and Sze (Never has complete numbers of friends for Seoul Garden, because limited car seats.) Haha! We ate a lot of foods and like non-stop eating. It was really crazy and I ate until feel very uncomfortable. We enjoyed our foods and chit-chat. Sometimes, few of us create jokes and peoples can hear our laugh in the whole restaurant. So malu!

After finish eating, we went for shopping around Mahkota Parade. We just spent about 15 mins in the doll shop and some friends including me had bought a small key chain. It's looks cute! Once finish buying, we headed to the front door of Mahkota Parade and we realized that the decoration around Mahkota Parade about the Christmas was nice. At the same time, we imagine like we're celebrating Christmas on that moment. We can't wait for the upcoming Christmas. So, we ends up took some photos before went home.

Thanks for Lian always fetching us geng go here go there.. :) , and I can said yesterday was a happy day for 6 of us!

Time flowing...

I can feel that the time was moving very fast. This coming Monday will be the 3rd week for this short semester, huhu... And I was not updating my blog for quite a long time. I do not know why, should be free to update my blog, but still not update it until today. Let's review the history for the past 2 weeks...

I can said first week will be very free week for me. One lecturer canceled his first class and I only attended for 3 lecture session ( 8 hours) and there was no tutorial class for the 1st week.
Hmm.. I think I was busy with gaming and played sudoku.. Haha! Last weekends, 1 of my housemate suddenly got "feel" to become artist. He had invited me + 2 more housemates go for Go Go KTV. So, 3 of us just followed him and sing the songs for 3 hours crazily.

Week 2 was the week where my busy-ness started. All the lectures and tutorials was on and have to do the tutorials before entering the class.. Furthermore, lecturer had given the assignment topic for all the subjects and I had to form a group to do the assignment. In between the time, there was a small conflict happened and I hoped it was over and do not want to talk more here. My club also started to have meetings and tasks to do. Furthermore, I have booth duties for the MMU MASTER 2009 SUB-COMM RECRUITMENT and SMASH MASTER 2008 from week 2 until week4. Cham... Tiring~

For those MMU-ian who wish to join for MMU MASTER SUB-COMM RECRUITMENT, please go to our booth next week or do consult me. There are 5 division left, Sponsorship, Special Task, Technical, PR & HR and Program Flow. Publicity division was fulled. Hope to see more peoples participate in joining the sub-comm for this biggest event.

Last night, My housemates and I went for "QUARANTINE".. I can said this movie was best and those who really love "suprise" movie, please watch this movie. I guaranteed you will satisfied with this movie.

New sems ( Goodbye, KT!)

New semester begins tomorrow and I'll leave my hometown tonight. I purposely choose the latest trip back to Malacca because I do not have any classes on Monday and Tuesday.

This new semester is a short semester and it only has eight weeks before final exam. For this new semester, I had registered 3 subjects, Management Information System, Quality and Operation Management and Co-cu ( Theater).

New sems begins means the busy life begins too. There will be many many assignment, tests, quizzes, and exams coming.. Haha!! Pressure again..

To all my KT friends, take good care and stay happy always. See you all agains after 2 months.

Grade for exams..

Although this sems my results was dropped, I still happy with my achievement. Why I said so ? This is because I successfully maintain good results for my major subject [ BBA (HONS) BANKING AND FINANCE ].

So far, I had taken 4 major papers and all papers were in good grades ( although no A+) for me. I was very satisfied with my hardwork. One phrase that I learned from my Organizational Behavior subject, "PERFORMANCE CAUSES SATISFACTION!". This phrase really work for me.

Below are the four major subjects that I already taken so far:
(a) FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT 1 (A-)
(B) FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT 2 (A)
(c) FINANCIAL MARKET AND INSTITUTIONS (A)
(d) BANK MANAGEMENT (A)

I hope in the next remaining some major papers I can maintain my results, especially in 3rd semester, GAMMA and final year.

P/s: This post is not to show off my results. It just to motivate me to study harder next time.

Result Released

Around 6.10pm today, I received a sms from my friend saying that the result for Trimester 1 examination was released. I was very shocked after reading that sms. My heartbeat suddenly "increase its speed". I was scared because one of the subject in the potential of "FAILED!"

Without wasting time, I checked my result online.. I was very scared and once I successfully log into the site, I close my result status and open to view it slowly... I feel so relieved when the 1st word was "P" and i know already it was "PASS"... Fuh... Thanks GOD... I pass all the subject taken. After that, i calculate my GPA and found out I dropped compared to last sems. I was down because I had lost "YOU". Hopefully can grab back "YOU" next sems.

As for now, which holidays left few days, nothing to do at home. Accompany my family members and watching TV while doing my favourite "SUDOKU".. Now, I'm waiting for the grades of the subject. I was wondering what subject really make me lose "YOU"...

HAPPY DEEPAVALI TO ALL INDIANS IN MALAYSIA..

Boring

1 week of holiday had gone, 2 more weeks to go..
And I have no idea what can I do during the holidays...
Just feel want to update my blog...
It's very boring during holiday for me.. I believe many MMU students have the same feelings as me.. (except those who has planned for full 3 weeks of holiday).
When the time for study week and final exam, we will wish for sems-break and holiday ; when there is a time for holiday, we wish to have classes and some activities so that won't be that bored. Haha!

Everyday what can I do just watching TV, sleep, eat and gaming.. BUT one "BEST" thing about holiday is I can accompany my family for 3 weeks. Eat, Shop, Relax together with my lovely family :) Now I wish to have a better plan for my remaining 2 weeks of holiday. Hopefully can go for a vacation again..

Just back from KL yesterday and feel so tired... 2 days 1 night of Genting and half day of Midvalley shopping make my legs cramp. Wuahaha! (Too long time did not had a long walk already).

The genting trip was very memorable but "outdoor games really makes me phobia!" Why I said so ?? This is because the 1st outdoor game that I played was the most challenging outdoor game-Space Shot Tower. I tell you, this game was really crazy.. Sit on the seat provided and the tower bring you up slowly to the top and it let's you enjoy the scene for 10 seconds. Once the times up, it brings you down with the maximum speed and you can feel your butt was not on the chair.. Something like you feel you are suicide (jump building) from high tower like that. It's really make me to have "heart attack" and my friends told me my face looks like I will K.O. soon.. Cilaka punya budak!

Roller coaster also make me to have "heart attack". It goes up with the minimum speed and goes down with the maximum speed make me feel so shocked and I had not prepared myself well yet and it happened so fast. Some more , the turning left and right will really feel you will "tercampak" from the seat.. Wow... Scary but I think it's better than Space Shot Tower. Who loves challenging games next time I recommend "Space Shot Tower" la.. Others indoor and outdoor are less challenging than this two. So, I duwan to talk more about it. When we leaved Genting, my friends suggested to sit cable car go down from Genting. I was like "Oh my God".
That was my 1st time sit in the cable car and I feel so scared between the period the cable car was moving. I tried to calm myself and after few minutes I felt relieved and cable car was quite enjoyable.

We reached Midvalley Megamall noon and we had pass through many shops and we found out many shops are doing "female business". I planned want to buy a pair of new shoes but it's too expensive and out of my budget. So, maybe next time must plan the money properly. After sometimes of shopping there, all of us were very tired and took KTM back Seremban and had our dinner there before headed back Malacca. This was the 1st time having trip with my housemates and it was really enjoyable and memorable.

Today is the time for me to back my lovely hometown. After packing half of my things, I come over my desk and update my blog. Haha! I think I gonna continue packing my things. Otherwise, later miss something that need to bring back hometown. Kuala Terengganu, I'm coming... Wait me.. Hehe!!

Elaine Birthday Celebration

Elaine's birthday supposingly was on 15th Oct 08. Due to her final exam ended 18th Oct, so we choose to celebrate her birthday tonight ( just few hours ago). We celebrated it in Cosmo Noodles (Melaka Raya) and there are total of 8 peoples attended for that small-types celebration: Me, Ivan, DK, Bernard, Nicholas, Yong Loon, Jade and birthday girl- ELAINE! Haha!!!



We had snapped a lot of photos around and with many posts. I realised that my that gang of friends really enjoyed to take photos in the TOILET.. Haha! Izzit nice? Haha... Maybe la for them.. There are too many mirrors... So, they feel easy to snap over with the mirror reflect back the images.. :)


During the dinner time, we had chit-chat a lot about our uni life, past 2 years foundation years stories etc etc.. When talked about it, think back the time was flowing so fast and now all of us are in GAMMA year.. OMG... so fast la!!!


When the time was around 11pm, it was the time for us went back home.. Ivan and Bernard went for clubbing.. (Sorry bro, next time I go with you all, tonight really cant make it.. Paiseh!) The rest headed home..

Finish Exam~ [R3|@>< ; 3nJ0y]

HO WEI BING

Today was the last paper for my final exam in Tri 1 2008/09. As usual, after the exam, I had prepared some programmes to be done right after my exam finished.

Around 11.20am, one of my cyberjaya campus friend, Wei Bing came over Malacca to visit his ex-classmates and his ex-lecturer. Once he reached Malacca, he straight away find his ex-lecturer ( Mr Effandi )and chit chat for about 1 hour before 3 of us went for lunch. During the lunch, we talk + joke + laugh together... So happy! We headed home around 2.30pm. [Note: Mr Fendi taught me 3 subjects before: Principles of Microeconomics, Fundamentals of Business and Financial Management II. ]

After having lunch, Wei Bing and I had no idea of what to do and where to go since most of our friends were having exams on 2.30pm-4.30pm. So, we decided to play " CS " just to fill our time. Around 5pm, Wei Bing leaved me and went to find Nic, who was just finished exam on the time. Both of them went out while I rest in the house.

Wei Bing was back around 8pm and we waiting for Nic for 2 hours to go for our dinner, "CAPITOL SATAY CELUP". There are 5 peoples joined eating satay celup, who are Josh, Bernard, Ivan, Nicholas and Alexander. Haha! Here we can see the "real" Josh eating. So scary~! After eating, we went for some snookerling. Tonight was the 1st time I learned how to play snooker and I gained experienced on it. It's not bad! Hehe... After some matches. we felt tired and all went back home.

To Josh: Do take care always, friendship forever and keep in touch!

Final Exam...

Here comes to the end of September.. Gosh, I just updated the blog 1 month after my last post. I'm too lazy and busy to update for the past a month ago. =)

(c) On 14th of September, Chinese in Malaysia celebrated Mid-Autumn Festival ( Mooncake Festival). My friends and I celebrated it 3 days after the Mid Autumn because some friends are not available on the 14th of September. On the day we celebrated it, we went for Shibaraku for a buffet dinner and went to one of my friend's house to play lantern and chit chat (among BBA students).

(d) On 23rd September 2008, the exam slip was out. It means that final exam is around the corner (next week). The schedule is quite pack and I do not wish anything for this sems. Just wish I can achieve 2nd upper result (around 3.50). The time and date as below:

This post should be posted a week ago but last week I'm busy with my midterm test and some assignment meeting that need to be settle. So, I just posted it today and sorry for the late..

Olympic Games in Beijing ended last week and our lovely country, Malaysia, managed to get a silver medal during the Olympic Games, thanks to Dato' Lee Chong Wei who became the runners-up for the Men's Single for Badminton. Although it was just a silver medal, Malaysia had proved that we are better now compared to last 2 Olympic Games (Australia-2000 and Athens-2004) which we didn't get any medal for that past 2 Olympic Games. The athletes had showed their hard work and broke some new record during the Olympic Beijing.

Pilihan raya kecil Permatang Pauh dijalankan pada hari ini. Seperti biasa, pihak berwajib hendaklah menunaikan tanggungjawab masing-masing untuk keluar mengundi. Seramai 58,459 pengundi berdaftar di kawasan Parlimen itu. Kerajaan negeri juga telah mengistiharkan hari selasa (hari ini) adalah cuti umum bagi negeri tersebut untuk membolehkan rakyat keluar mengundi.

Busy weekends!

MMU Badminton Club had organized "NOVICE CUP 2008" tournament on last saturday and sunday in Kipsport Badminton Hall. I took part in the 2 categories which are Men's Double and Mixed Double. It's an unlucky match for me since I had lose in the 1st round for mixed double and 2nd round in the men's double category, but quite happy at least have some improvement compared to last time (alpha year and beta year 1st round already lose). Here, I would like to apologize to my partner because "terpaksa balik awal" with the unstable performance.

However, although I had lose in the early round, I still have to go there because as an assistant director for sports affair division, I need to help settle the things related to novice cup. Not only hat, in this novice cup competition, I became the first time umpire for woman single match (basically not bad la, gain experience), and at that time I'm quite nervous but luckily the match was quite easy to handle. The match ends around 4.30pm.

Venue: Kipsport Badminton Hall
Time: 9am to 5pm (Saturday)
10am to 4pm (Sunday)

This tournament is open to all MMU students who is school level and below (beginner). District and state player are not allowed to participate.

The prices for each categories:

RM10 (non-member)

RM18 (non-member)

3. Woman Single- RM7(member)
RM9 (non-member)

4. Woman Double- RM 14 (member)

Finally, the date is coming. 08-08-2008, where the Olympic Beijing begins. All the athletes from all around the world meet in Beijing to play with each others and win back a gold medal for their country.

I would like to wish Malaysia's athletes best of luck in their games. Hopefully this Olympic will be the "record breaking" Olympic for Malaysia.

Days in Hometown...

Mid-term break for Trimester 1 started on 2nd August 2008, I believe almost 90% of MMU students went back to their hometown and enjoy the sweet time with their lovely family members, so do I.

Normally mid-term break is like a break that need to bring back books and notes to study for preparation for Mid-term test right after the break. I'll having 3 test after midterm break, Macroeconomics (18 August 2008), Business Ethics (20 August 2008) and Bank Management (28 August 2008). Really tiring! But I always follow my own study concept- "STUDY SMART, NOT HARD!" :) "BELAJAR BUKAN UNTUK MENJADI ROBOT!"

This 1 week break allows me having "durian party" with my family members. For your info (readers), I love durian so much! But the durian is heaty, so when eating also need to set a limit. Otherwise, fall sick again ! Hahaha!

I received a message in my blog from my friend saying that she's waiting for the next post.. I' really sorry to say I have no time to update the blog for the past 2 weeks. My time is full of assignment research, assignment meeting, club meeting, study for mid-term test and much more.. Besides that, I facing hard time to connect to the internet while in Melaka. The connection was bad! Can u imagine, open http://www.google.com.my/ need to wait for 15-20 minutes.. Sometimes the page cannot be displayed.. Haiz~ Really disappointed with the line.. Hopefully receives some improvements after the midterm break!

Current Issue

Nowadays, the news of the current Prime Minister will step down by June 2010 was reported. There are so many peoples giving comment towards the contribution of the current PM while he's holding the post of "Prime Minister". As we know, the result of latest general election was the worst in the history of Barisan Nasional and the highest increase of petrol price (RM0.78/litre) become word of mouth for Malaysian.

For normal cases, in an organization, if a head is step down, for sure the deputy head will take the position of head. At here, we can clearly see that our deputy prime minister will take over the Prime Minister post. Suprisingly, our ex-PM comment that our Deputy PM will not be PM on the time promise. Let's view the article:

11-07-2008: Najib won’t be PM, says Dr M

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Najib Razak will not make it to the prime minister’s post, said former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

Writing on his blog Che Det, Dr Mahathir said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi would not allow his deputy to take over the premiership despite promising Najib the position in 2010.

According to the former premier, prior to the date for the transition of power, allegations would be hurled against Najib to show that he was not qualified to take over as prime minister.
“Someone who is deemed to be more loyal to Datuk Seri Abdullah would take over Najib’s place as deputy prime minister,’’ he said.

Dr Mahathir said that neither would the candidate who replaces Najib be the prime minister come 2010 as the candidate would then be considered inexperienced for the top post.
In such a situation, he added, Abdullah would continue the premiership until the 13th general election.

“If the people’s current trend of thinking continues, then Barisan Nasional (BN) will lose the next general election and Datuk Seri Abdullah will no longer be the prime minister. Therefore, there will be nothing for Datuk Seri Najib to take over from,” said Dr Mahathir.

Abdullah announced yesterday that he will hand over the reins of the government to Najib in mid-2010. He would also hand over the post of Umno president and BN chairman to Najib, Abdullah said. Dr Mahathir, who had three deputies who failed to make it as prime minister before he made way for Abdullah in 2003, has been urging Najib to challenge the Umno president at December’s party polls.

Umno branches and divisions meet between August and October and will nominate candidates for the top national posts.

Aside from Najib, veteran Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah is the other leader who could possibly challenge Abdullah if he gets enough nominations to contest.

It is not clear if Dr Mahathir will throw his weight behind Razaleigh should Najib decline. Razaleigh himself had challenged Dr Mahathir for the top post in a bitter fight in 1987 but lost by 43 votes.

After celebrates the birthday with MMU Malacca friends, the next day went to KL to meet with my MMU Cyberjaya friends. That time is the real 1st time I went to Cyberjaya! After meet up with them at Midvalley, they decided to go to Jogoya to have a buffet.

It's really fantastic place. There are so many foods, drinks, desserts available. Once I look at it, I feel like I'm in "FOOD WORLD".. Wahahaha!!! All of us eat until the max! Sampai nak muntah~ Hehehe...

Finish eating, we went to Neway for Karaoke... We sang for 4 hours! It's really fun and happy!
After that, we headed home. All of us looks tired but we enjoyed the night!! Thanks to all my friend who arranged all the plan while me in KL and Cyberjaya... Appreciate it very much!
